Elected Officials
Atlantic Beach is a small barrier island village located in Nassau County, New York, about 21 miles east of Manhattan. It was incorporated as a village in 1962, establishing its own local governance to serve its tight-knit coastal community.
The Village is governed by an elected Mayor and Board of Trustees, who serve as the Village’s legislative body. Together, they are responsible for enacting laws and providing effective governance to protect the integrity and well-being of the community, while overseeing the Village’s resources, operations, finances, and strategic plan.
Board of Trustees meetings are held in Village Hall on the 2nd Monday of each month, commencing at 7:30 PM.
